We’re looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Laboratory in Pila Poland Lamps Factory.

• As a Quality Laboratory Intern you’ll be responsible for conducting electrical and photometry measurements of Fluorescent UV lamps and special purpose, to assure quality and compliance of those products the role.
• You’ll be part of Quality Laboratory Team, working with development departments, production and industrial quality.

What you’ll do:

• You will plan and perform electrical & radiometry measurements within the assigned competence areas of fluorescent UV lamps – special application lighting
• Being part of TUV capacity extension project you will support team in upgrading and extending UV measurements systems.
• You will perform Calibration of measuring equipment to keep the measurement equipment in the right condition.
• Basic statistical analyses of measurements result to assess the performance and assure right quality level will be part of your tasks.

Your qualifications:

• If you are a student or recent graduate of an technical field, preferably electrical engineering
• You have basic electrical knowledge from electricity or measurements (metrology)
• You are precise and can organize your work
• Should know and work in MS Office application – Excel, Power Point, Word – preparation of measurements reports
• Basic English knowledge to read English documentation and communicate (e-mail mainly) with other departments across Corporation

Working in Dynamic team, being in center of new product developments of UC special purpose lamps (eg. Germicidal lamps or UV purification products), working on world top quality measurements equipment, getting knowledge of using statistical tools in assessing measurements results and long term performance.
